Latida Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

Latida LLC ("Latida", "we") provides an indoor cycling platform used by fitness studios. By checking in for a class through a studio's QR code, the Latida web app, or the Latida iPhone or Apple Watch apps, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Latida. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms.

3. The service

• Latida provides live performance tracking during indoor cycling classes, post-ride summaries, ride history, and optional connections to other fitness platforms.
• Classes are run by the studio where you ride. Latida provides the technology the studio uses.

4. Account and verification

• Some features, such as your ride history in the Latida app, require you to verify your phone number.
• By verifying, you confirm that you are the authorized user of that number.
• Keep your access secure, and tell us if you believe someone else is using your account.

5. Text messages

• If you opt in at check-in, you agree to receive texts from Latida, including one-time verification codes, post-ride summaries and service messages. We never send marketing or advertising by text.
• Message frequency varies, typically one message per class attended. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Performance and heart-rate data

• Power, cadence, heart rate and related ride data are collected during classes to provide live feedback, ride summaries and long-term tracking.
• Heart-rate monitors are linked to your account only after you confirm they are yours.
• How we collect, use and delete this data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Connected services

• Connecting Garmin Connect, Strava or other platforms is optional and requires your explicit authorization.
• Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
• You can disconnect at any time.

8. Health disclaimer and assumption of risk

• Indoor cycling is strenuous exercise. Consult a physician before starting any exercise program, and stop exercising if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
• Latida's data, including heart rate, calories, zones and effort targets, is for information only. Latida is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
• You take part in classes voluntarily and at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Latida is not liable for any injury, health issue, or loss arising from class participation or from use of the Latida platform.
• The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every reading will be accurate.

10. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service. This includes:

• checking in as someone else;
• interfering with the platform or other riders;
• attempting to access data that isn't yours.

11. Intellectual property

The Latida platform, including its software, design and algorithms, is owned by Latida LLC. Unauthorized copying, reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and we will change the date above when we do. Continued use of Latida after an update means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
